About
Welcome to Wealthy in her Twenties, a personal finance blog catered to young women who are just starting out their personal finance journey.
My Story
My name is Natalie and I am 26 years old and I have a passion for helping others understand personal finance.
I’m just an average Gen Z woman. I wasn’t born into generational wealth. I didn’t grow up learning about stocks, 401(k)s, or investing strategies. For the longest time I always thought of investing as something I would get to eventually.
Our generation was born into what feels like a doomsday state. We’ve dealt with recessions, skyrocketing rent/housing prices, student loan debt, global pandemics, and not to mention, the fact that global warming might make our planet inhabitable within our lifetime!
For years, I believed that saving and investing were almost pointless. What was the point of planning for a future that felt so uncertain? It felt like financial security and financial independence was something I would never be able to achieve no matter how hard I tried.
Once I started learning about personal finance, I realized that building wealth was actually possible. It wasn’t as complicated or out of reach as I had once believed. But the longer I waited, the more I ensured that financial freedom would never be my reality. Waiting for the world to change wasn’t going to build my wealth. So, I made the decision to take control of my money, and the more I learned, the more I saw that financial security wasn’t just for the elite. It was for anyone willing to shift their mindset and take action.I created Wealthy in Her Twenties to be the resource I wish I had when I started. A judgment-free space where you can learn about saving, investing, and building wealth, even if you feel like you’re starting from nothing. The truth is, financial freedom is just about knowing how to take the first step.

Why This Matters
Many women don’t take an active interest in personal finance, often assuming they’ll eventually marry someone who will handle it. But in today’s world, relying on someone else for financial security just isn’t realistic or empowering.
Money isn’t just a men’s thing. Understanding how to save, invest, and build wealth is a form of independence, and it’s not as complicated as it seems. My goal is to make personal finance approachable, so you can take control of your future without waiting on anyone else to do it for you.
Take Control of Your Financial Future
You don’t have to wait for the right time or have everything figured out to start building wealth. Taking small, intentional steps today can completely change your financial future. The sooner you start, the more freedom and security you’ll create for yourself.
