Welcome to Wealthy in her Twenties, a personal finance blog catered to young women who are just starting out their personal finance journey.
My Story
My name is Rachael, I am 26 years old and I have a passion for helping others understand personal finance.
When I was 23 years old, I entered a relationship with an older, wealthy guy. I thought I had it made, he told me he was in love with me, told me he wanted to marry me, but like most things that are too good to be true, it came crashing down in the most dramatic and heartbreaking way.
After this experience, when I was 24 years old, I decided that I still wanted to live that rich girl lifestyle, but I never wanted to rely on a man for money ever again. That meant I needed to educate myself on personal finance so that one day I could get there using my own money and my own success.
I believe that financial literacy is so important especially for young women. You deserve to live a life of independence and confidence, and understanding how to manage your money is the first step. There is no need to rely on anyone else but yourself. Follow my blog tips, and you’ll be able to create your own version of success.
